I believe access to quality counselling and psychotherapy should be possible for people experiencing financial difficulties. A limited number of concessional appointments may be available for clients experiencing financial hardship.

If the standard fee presents a barrier to accessing therapy, please feel welcome to contact me to discuss whether a reduced fee may be available. Any agreed fee will be confirmed before your first appointment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur the full session fee. This allows time to offer the appointment to others who may be waiting. Where sessions are provided through Shine Strong Psychology, their policies and procedures may also apply. PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE REBATES

All sessions are eligible for rebates through participating private health funds, depending on your level of cover. These include:

Medibank, AHM, ARHG, Police Health Fund, Emergency Services Health, Phoenix Health, St Lukes Health, GMHBA, HBF, Teachers Union Health, AIA, Doctors Health Fund, Westfund.

Medicare rebates through a Mental Health Care Plan are currently unavailable for Psychotherapists and Counsellors.

AVAILABILITY

I work with children and adolescents (6+) and adults. Sessions are available in Cairns, Kuranda and via Telehealth.

FUNDED WORKPLACE PROGRAMS

I work with a range of funded and third-party programs, including EAP, NDIS, QPS SelfRefer and Victim Assist Queensland, where eligibility and provider requirements are met. Fees and claiming arrangements vary according to the relevant program.
